Day by Day Itinerary

01DAY

Dar es Salaam to Serengeti National Park

Begin your adventure with a transfer from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your domestic flight to the Serengeti. Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide and begin exploring the endless plains in search of Africa’s iconic wildlife.

Enjoy a game drive through the Serengeti, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. After lunch at your lodge or camp, head out for an afternoon game drive and admire the beautiful African sunset before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After an early breakfast, depart for an exciting morning game drive across the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes. Your guide will help you search for predators and other wildlife while sharing insights into the park’s remarkable ecosystem.

Return to the lodge for lunch before continuing by safari vehicle toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby, where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands. Dinner and overnight stay prepare you for an early descent into the crater the following morning.

Ngorongoro Crater to Dar es Salaam

Rise early for breakfast before descending into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Explore its varied habitats in search of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and big cats. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a lunch stop near the hippo pool, followed by additional wildlife viewing before ascending to the crater rim. After your safari, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled domestic flight back to Dar es Salaam, bringing your Tanzanian wildlife adventure to a close.
